Hello Readers:

This is Harold and in this article we can examine what other people have said about Marjorie Tara Dadak aka Domo Geshe Rinpoche.

But before I start I would like to tell you about White Conch Dharma Center's attempt to silence me.

I have been in regular email discussions with Marjorie for many weeks. She was friendly and open to sort of answering my many questions. When I started to try and pin her down on some hard answers and told her about criminal charges that could be laid (ie Identity Theft, Felony Fraud by False pretense and Interstate Fraud by Mail)if she could not provide legal proof to her claims, things changed.

On Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2009 I requested information from her about her "Not for profit charities" in Wisconsin and California. I received a email from Ngawang Thekchenn (at chola.thekchen@gmail.com). The same email appears to have been sent to Marjorie and I got a copy either by mistake or on purpose. It reads in part "Don't reply. Just keep forwarding these messages to (she then lists my email provider) and request they cat to stop them". (Dear Readers, that is what it says, cat!) They are trying to claim that I was using my email address to harass, Domo Geshe Rinpoche.

Well Marjorie, sorry to tell you this. You answered all my emails and never, ever, once asked me to STOP emailing you. Nice try, and by the way I discovered this bit of information. If you are using your or White Conch's email address to, let's use the example of "engage in collecting money by false pretence", your email server can shut down your email address (as could the police).

Does the above sound like the conduct of an "Enlightened Master" or a "Tulku"? Why would you try to silence me and my simple questions Marjorie??? Those with nothing to hide, hide nothing. Those with something to hide , hide something. Only you my readers can judge for yourselves.

Now onto my new article.

Dear readers please do a google search under Domo Geshe Rinpoche. You will find many pages of reference. Today I will examine two of these websites and what they say about Marjorie Tara Dadak aka Domo Geshe Rinpoche.

You will find in your web search under Domo Geshe Rinpoche a site titled "Beliefnet Discussions - Beliefnet.com". Here you can read for yourselves 61 different discussions about our Marjorie and some of these are from Marjorie herself under the title rinpoche1000. This is the same title that she uses on her personal email address rinpoche1000@hotmail.com. Here a just a few quotes from this website.

1. "The last few messages are from the woman named Tara Quinn - the name of the person calling herself Domo Geshe. Not only is she an imposter of Domo Geshe Rinpoche, she is a poor imposter. Anyone who knew Domo Geshe Rinpoche personally was aware that he didn't speak in the halting English she is fond of using....It is laughable that she thinks that the actual Domo Geshe Rinpoche would ever use the phrase, lies,lies,lies and call someone a nutball (as she does in the Scamming Rinpoche thread under Learning about Buddhism)...it is clear by her behavior that she is an imposter of the first degree". 2. "Her real name is Tara Larsen. She lived in Minnesota for many years, attending several different dharma groups. She was always a bit mentally unstable, and had a penchant for "needing to be in charge". After a failed marriage to a Tibetan man named Thupten Dadak, she became a nun. It does not surprise me in the least that she has gone off the deep end,so to speak. What is alarming is that she in now attempting to set herself up in a position of spiritual authority. I feel very bad for the people around her, whom she is likely to harm in addition to herself. Someone in the Gelug needs to step up and denounce her, before she does some significant harm (Post # 53 of 61)

3. "For several years in the late ninties, I knew the nun who now believes herself to be the reincarnation of Domo Geshe Rinpoche. I believe that she is sincere, but deluded. In any event, her identity as Domo Geshe Rinpoche is not accepted by the late Domo Geshe's students, nor has it been confirmed by others in her lineage. (Post #51 of 61)

If you do a google search of Domo Geshe Rinpoche again you will also find a site title "White Conch Dharma Center? Dharmaling Forums". Check this website and you will discover some of the following quotes.

1. "It seems strange enough, and no valid recognitions or affiliations of this lady teacher with the important sounding name are stated... As the text goes, she appeared out of nowhere and studied in place unknown.. So where does this lady come from, suddenly"

2. "This one is also fake. She claims that the consiousness of the real Domo Geshe would have entered her when He passed away. She has absolutely no other ground.But the reincarnation of Domo Geshe Rinpoche has been found and recognised already, so...I guess only people completely ignorant are falling for such tricks".

3. "The most amazing isn't that some people find crazy stories, but that they acutally find believers and followers".

4. "I think we have to discuss ways and means of stoppng this rot from spreading, as the Dharma spreads to the west, as these people are not so easily uncovered than in traditionally Buddhist countries are doing damage than any fake could be expected to do in a predominately Buddhist society".

I could go on and on but I think you get the point. Please read the full articles on these two websites and others I did not list.
