dreams,goals,deadlines...
It is all a dream: the goal and the deadline are also dreams.
You are dreaming!
this dream is different than a sleeping type dream
Assuming it is all a dream, just like a typical nightly dream state, a projection of our own mind... would it not then be possible to manipulate the dream at will?
For instance in a lucid sleeping dream state it's possible to change the dream simply by conscious choice.
Therefore, one should be able to change say a table into a chair (with video footage of course) to satisfy those that would argue in favor of critical thinking in this supposedly awake dream state that we are dreaming.
tables to chairs, dreams to joy
Tables to chairs for example is one of the ways one demonstrates "Dream Mastery" in Dream Yoga.
Multiplying the chairs or tables is another.
Both of these skills relate to the nightly dreams. They relate as well to the day dream: someone originally thought up table, thought up chair, considered, configured and created these objects.
Now, if you wish to trade a table for a chair in the daydream you certainly can!
The assumption that "you" are the only player is the potential error: you are in the dream, but where does the dream material arise from?
We can say in both the night dream and the day dream, the origination is the Unconscious. Therefore, when we speak of changing, or manipulating items in the dream world, night or day,
we must first understand we are in dialogue with the Unconscious.
Having acknowledged that, we must, for ego-balance and wholesomeness, ask what meaning the Unconscious intends, in those objects.
If we see the arisings are mirrors, and take them as such, mirrors to parts of ourselves WE do not know until we see them in material form, (in other words, our daily ego, or the dream ego engine of the night dream is NOT in control)then we may work our way towards greater self knowledge, including release of negative patterns.
