origin of thought

Can fear be manifested in the form realm, as opposed to something in the day realm creating fear. Is this what mirroring means? Recently during a meditation some images arose. These were snarling dogs and remind me of an incident in childhood when an aunt threatened to throw me in the shed with the dog if I wasn't good. One might think I've developed a fear of dogs as a result of that experience but what if it's the other way around? If I use the association of dog representing body, then it could be that what I fear is actually body and therefore that fear "manifests" or creates the experience with my aunt.
This would mean that this day realm is the mirror and some current pschology has it backwards. When examing dreams and memories we aren't looking at the *results* of day realm experience. Well, sometimes that may actually be the case but overall day realm is the *result* of another source. This form or body I ride at the moment is a symptom or 'dis-ease' of the source and that is where I am. That would also be the origin of thought.
Where do I go from here?
