Attention His Holiness Jigdal Dagchen Sakya:

We are writing to the office of His Holiness Jigdal Dagchen Sakya to seek his advice on the authenticity of Lama Rigzden Chodon Rinpoche.

Lama Rigzden Chodon Rinpoche is a white western woman from the Seattle Washington area. Her western name is Madi Nolan and she has a website www.whitelotushealing.ca

She claims that in 1947 at the age of five and a half years she entered a Tibetan monastery and when she left at 18 years of age she was ordained as a Tibetan Lama and a Doctor of Tibetan Medicine. She further claims to have been recognized as a Tulku.

She came to Toronto Ontario Canada between Sept. 27th to Sept. 30th 2007 and gave teachings at three different locations. While she was visiting our small town of Stouffville Ontario, just outside of Toronto, she taught to over 70 people at $20 per person and gave a weekend seminar at$350 per person.

Since both you and Lama Rigzden Chodon Rinpoche reside in the Seattle area, we wondered if you are aware of her and have met her.

Please advise us and the other people who have taken her teachings if she is an authentic Tibetan Tulku and a Tibetan Lama and also a Tibetan Doctor of Medicine. Any help you might offer in this matter is greatly appreciated.

We pray for the continued long life and health of His Holiness Jigdal Dagchen Sakya.

I again tried to contact Madi Nolan but all I could do was leave her a message. How could one of the hightest living masters of Tibetan Buddhism not know Madi Nolan? He doesn't live an ocean away but in the same city of Seattle as Madi Nolan since 1960.

We also received a telephone message from the Chinese Consule General's Office in Toronto. We had inquired about Madi Nolan's claims of studing at the "White Cloud Monastery" in Beijing China for a year and a half and also being their representive. The official response of the Chinese Government was that this was "IMPOSSIBLE".

If you google the name Madi Nolan you will find many websites listing her name. After examining them we found some interesting information about her.

At one site mentioning her www.ndh.org a Norma Reiss wrote to the "New Day Herald". The title is "Visiting China on a Sacred Sites Tour" and she wrote "Madi has not led groups into China before and discovered that she has a a two star ambassador rating (She's an HONORARY lama)".

A further check on this website to query the date of this article showed November 26, 1999. I find it most interesting that in 1999 Madi Nolan was an "HONORARY" lama, not a lama but just an "HONORARY" lama.

At another website www.educate-yourself.org a ZS Livingstone worte an article dated July 31,2005. He describes meeting Madi Nolan at the CanAm Dowsers Conference May 27, to 30 2005 at Issaquah, Washington. He wrote "Her life story is fascinating. She was born in China about 1937, she said that she was a couple of years younger than the Dalai Lama who was born in 1935. Her parents were US Diplomats to the Far East".

Madi Nolan "BORN IN CHINA ABOUT 1937"? Her own testitmony under oath in court and on her original "Baptism" certificate shows that she was born in Centralia, Washington on January 17, 1942. Did ZS Livingston get it all wrong or couldn't Madi Nolan remember her bogus life story?

Tells us Madi what really happened to your website www.whitelotushealing.ca If you won't tell your followers I will. I contacted the people that were running it and after our talks about you and your questionable life story they took down your website.

I contacted Madi's daughter Tammy on Novemer 16,2007 in response to Michael Stewart's comments about the "Madi Nolan an EPISCOPALIAN" article. When I asked Tammy about her mom's story of living in India and Nepal her answer was "I HAVE NO COMMENT". I asked her why if Madi's story is true would she not just comfirm its truth. Tammy answered again "I HAVE NO COMMENT".

I had also contacted Madi Nolan's sister-in-law, Betty Fitzgerald in Olympia Washington back in October 2007. She confirmed that Madi was her husband's James Fitzgerald's sister. When I told her the purpose of my call she stated that James was out of town and for me to call back the next day. I have left countless telephone messages requesting his confirmation of Madi Nolan's life story. He has not returned any of my calls.

Dear Readers: After reading all of these articles by Charlene and me the answer is quite simple. To paraphrase the first article written by Charlene, Madi Nolan you're no Saint, you're just a "CON ARTIST".
