Thoughts are Something

Thoughts are a whole lot of something, in my opinion.

Throughout history thoughts have changed and continue to change the world at an exponential pace.

Examples of this surround us, thoughts turn into stuff. Where you decide to place your thoughts is worthy of exploration.

More detail can be found in "Think and Grow Rich", "The 8th Habit", and too many others to mention.

Where does a thought come from? It certainly isn't from Discovery magazine's 4% of something.

Who's Doing the Thinking?

Is thought changing the world or does the world as a living entity change thought?
"Thoughts turn into stuff" indeed. When practiced, a thought becomes a habit, a habit becomes a belief and finally a belief becomes something we refer to when we say "THE REALITY", as in "the REALITY is..."

Yes, thoughts seem to become something. In their essence they remain only always and forever thought. What they give rise to is indeed stuff: all the stuff in the sense of material things in our lives as well as all the beliefs we cling to.
We like our stuff, even when the stuff is non-stuff as in non-physical stuff.

"Where you decide to place your thoughts is worthy of exploration." Well, are you certain you are deciding? Which part of you decides which thoughts go where? In what direction?

And this you which is referred to as an active participant, how is this different from just another thought? It may be the You of which you speak is another practiced, habitual thought with no more substance than a dream.

Then we have thoughts "deciding" upon thoughts. Hmmm...

Yes, habituation of thought can lead to material manifestation. That is not the same thing as deciding or being in charge.

How do you know thought does not come from nothing?
