Science proves that nothing is something? OMG, Sienfeld was right?
Way cool. Even Discover magazine backs up my "Nothing is Impossible" concept?!
"1. There is vastly more nothing than something. Roughly 74 percent of the universe is "nothing" or what physicists call dark energy;22 percent is dark matter, particles we cannot see. Only 4 percent is baryonic matter, the stuff we call something."
Let me get this straight. Even quantum physicists are strangely uncomfortable with... nothing? Now that has got to make ya feel at least 96% better. :)
Based upon the quote, nothing seems so incredibly uncomfortable to most people that it is now something. It is called this ominous sounding “dark energy” and “dark matter”. Holy fear of nothing, send up the bat signal!
Even television networks are uncomfortable with the concept. Seinfeld, a show about nothing?
At the end of The Matrix series of movies, the architect and the prophet both display intense fear of nothing.
Personally I like the term “goo”. For some reason it seems much more fun and friendly; more innocent and childlike and it acknowledges the fact that nothing is impossible. Just a thought, why not try and practice the “Everything around me is 96% goo” mantra.
“2. And even something is mostly nothing. Atoms overwhelmingly consist of empty space. Matter's solidity is an illusion caused by the electric fields created by subatomic particles."
Of the 4% that is actually visible, 96% is “goo”?
Seriously though, where does thought itself fit into the picture here?
